It was a mutual decision to have KFC for dinner tonight because I didn’t feel like cooking the kids thought I should have a night off. So while DD’s 15, 8 and the baby waited in the car, DD15’s boyfriend and I went into get our dinner.
Not only did they have one person serving at the counter, the other two girls working with him helped put together the order of the woman in front of us. It wasn’t like it was a huge order so why did they need three people to pack it??
It was only after I said quite loudly mentioned to DD15’s boyfriend that they should have someone else serving, did one of the girls ask for our order.
If having to wait like that wasn’t enough, I then noticed that the girl who served us had four huge-ass hiccies (love bites) on her neck. She was like 17, if that! If you’re going to let your boyfriend do that to you, try to at least cover it up with some makeup before you start your shift because it REALLY looks tacky, hun!

I was watching the evening news today and just heard the end of the story that was featured about Google Maps. I didn’t think anything of it until Kelley of Magneto Bold Too fame tweeted her thanks to Google for showing the world that her lawn needed mowing…lol
So I decided to type in our address to see what would come up and there it was…my little house with our car parked in the driveway. My initial thought was “this is too weird! How do they do that?” Next they will be able to use some sort of x-ray type of vision and see us sitting in our home theater, watching movies and eating popcorn! OK, we don’t have a home theater but we do watch movies and eat popcorn…LOL
So then I wanted to check out others so I typed in my dad’s address and my sister’s address and their homes came up too. On the picture of my dad’s house, you can actually see someone standing behind the screen door!
What are your thoughts about Google being able to do this?

(received in my inbox today)
A turkey was chatting with a bull.
‘I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree’ sighed the turkey, ‘but I haven’t got the energy.’ ‘Well, why don’t you nibble on some of my droppings?’ replied the bull. They’re packed with nutrients.’
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.
Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.
Moral of the story: Bull Shit might get you to the top, but it won’t keep you there..

There are some crazy kids’ shows on ABC. Have you heard of Yo Gabba Gabba? It’s just….weird. What’s with the orange tea-cozy on that guy’s head?!
Give me The Wiggles any day! I The kids have been fans of the Wiggles since they first started. DD8 wasn’t that keen on them but the baby absolutely LOVES them so I have an excuse to watch them again you’ll often find The Wiggles on the tv in the mornings at our house.
Much better than watching the same acne info-mercials that play over and over!

Sitting on the couch, under a blanket because it’s cold and I don’t want to turn the heater on because we’re trying to lower our electricity bill.
Laptop on my lap, trying so hard to stay away from eBay but I really do need to find some new curtains for the kitchen, supplies for DD12’s sleepover party and some pretties for our bedroom.
Spent too much money on clothes for the baby and some things to put away for Christmas. Even considered buying a couple of school girl costumes so DH will not focus on the amount I spent…LOL
