It has been a long time since I was played pool. DH and I used to go to the pub every weekend to play pool with some friends. (Of course, that was in the pre-children days). I was quite good at the game, even if I do say so myself! Although I did have a habit of hitting the pool table lights with my pool cue when I got excited about the cool shot I made…lol

So when my dad and stepmum were building the extension on their house to add a family room, my dad mentioned that he was going to buy a pool table for the room. He has wanted a pool table for a long time and wanted to add a bar as well so the family could go over there to have “pool comps”. Well, the room has been finished for almost six months now and there is no pool table in there. Darn! He lucked out again! lol

He should maybe consider turning his garage into a pool room. He hardly ever parks his truck in there and there is plenty of room for a decent size table, his bar, and could also install pool table lights, a pool cue rack and one of those counter boards to keep track of the scores to add to the feel of the place.

Of course, he wouldn’t be able to play because he would be babysitting the kids so DH and I can have kidless pool nights again!
